We are wrapping up 2017, time to put some things to rest so 2018 can start with a clean slate!
This November psychic reading is for the Week of November 26, 2017.
Instructions:
Would you like to make crazy accurate predictions using cards that require:
Then read on my friend!
Use this yes no tarot card reading technique without Tarot cards! That’s right, using a simple set of ordinary playing cards, you can get accurate answers to yes no questions without any knowledge of cartomancy.
Lay out 3 cards and look to see if there are more red cards or more black cards. Red equals yes, black equals no. You can add additional layers of probability by adding shades of yes no to each of the suits:
You can use the same technique with Tarot cards:
Lenormand cards can be used for the yes no technique as well. Use a set of Lenormand cards with the playing card insets and use the same technique described as above. The actual Lenormand cards give you further information as to why your answer is a yes, no or maybe!
The key to the accuracy of any predictive, intuitive or psychic reading is in the question. Asking great questions gives great results.
For any question, and especially yes/no questions there are 3 things to keep in mind:
Asking if it is a “good idea” or if you “should” do something is not a clear question. Drill down and ask what you really want to know. Is this a good job for me becomes will I earn at least $50,000 at this job. Is now a good time to move becomes will moving in the next 3 months create more space and harmony for my family?
Will I get fired next week is a good question if you want to get fired. If you DON’T want to get fired, try phrasing the question as Will I continue in my present position after next week?
Many questions benefit from a time frame. Will we ever get married becomes will we get married within the next year. See the difference. If the answer is yes to the first example, yes you will get married, you will immediately ask when!
I posted on Facebook asking for yes/no questions. Several people posted questions and the answers are recorded in this video. Watch the video to see the yes/no tarot card reading in action. In the video I use playing cards, Tarot cards, and Lenormand cards to answer questions.
Welcome to your October astrology 2017. Your year of manifesting begins now! Find out how 2 key planets changing signs is a game changer for you me, and everybody else.
The October astrology of 2017 is taking off. The full moon in Libra on October 5th is not only a harvest moon, but an end to sexual tension. Venus has been chasing Mars all year long, in Feb they were only 5 degrees apart, but then Venus went retrograde in Aries and Pisces.
Venus has finally caught the object of her desire, Mars in Virgo. What have you been chasing for all of 2017? On October 5th you just might catch it. As we enter the last quarter, what are you harvesting now? What would you like to give birth to next?
On October 10th Jupiter enters Scorpio for a 1 year stay in the deep waters of transformation. Jupiter has spent the past year in the diplomatic halls of Libra, just trying to make sure everyone gets along.
Jupiter wants to expand everything he touches and wants to bring inspiration, expansion and understanding to the sign he inhabits.
Libra can be superficial and being Venus’s domain a little too focused on social interactions and idle talk.
When Jupiter enters Scorpio, he will go deep and expand understanding in the areas of spiritual growth and liberation. Jupiter, or guru, will root around in the dark waters of the subconscious, or psychological hangups in order to inspire transformation.
Once Mars joins Jupiter in Scorpio in December we can really make progress in this area.
The October astrology 2017 includes the end of the Jupiter Uranus opposition which began in the fall of 2016. We saw the last pass of this opposition on September 27th. Most likely there was some part of your life during 2017 that while moving forward and expanding was making you crazy! That place where you could move forward but had to balance other’s needs, your needs, or just consider what was fair every step of the way.
This tug of war of trying to establish give and take should wane as Jupiter enters Scorpio and finally Mars joins him in December. Mars will be dealing with the scales of Libra himself and not geared up for action until then.
On October 14th, Venus enters Libra, one of her home signs!
With Venus on her home turf, expect life to be a little sweeter. While in Virgo, Venus was picky, complaining and overwhelmed by the details. In Libra, she can enjoy conversation, friends, a glass of wine and beautiful and comfortable surroundings.
Here in October, we get a little pause, a quick break, maybe a quick smoke and conversation with a friendly stranger…as we head back home on a crisp fall evening…go home and listen to a hypnosis CD to stop smoking…and dream of snakes coiled around our feet.
On October 23rd, the Sun moves into Scorpio, and the nights grow longer and colder. The Sun’s path moves closer to the horizon and the energy focuses inward.
On the same day, Mars enters Libra. Mars is now in the house of Venus and feels far from comfortable. The warrior planet seeks the battlefield and problems to solve, enemies to slay, places to be bold and powerful.
The house of Venus has too much fragile china, and fine paintings, and silk rugs for the warrior’s taste. He feels uncomfortable and doesn’t know how to act.
Alas, we will have to wait until Dec 10 for Mars to join Jupiter in his own domain of Scorpio.
On October 17th, Mercury enters Scorpio and conjuncts Jupiter. Perhaps Mercury uncovers a secret for Jupiter to investigate further.
And on October 19, the New moon at 26 degrees Libra marks new beginnings in the house of relationships.
By the end of October, we have 5 planets in Libra or Scorpio.
The first 3 quarters of 2017 have been crazy, fast and furious, full of quick changes it’s been hard to find a spot to rest. The October astrology 2017 invites us to go deep within to gain understanding of the parts of us that are driving the car and we don’t even know it.
Picking a Tarot deck can be a bit overwhelming. Here are my simple guidelines to picking a tarot deck for beginners and some of my recommendations.
Pick a deck based on the Rider Waite. The Rider Waite isn’t the best deck or the true deck or the most accurate deck, but it is the most talked about deck. Join the conversation where the majority of conversation is happening, set your foundation, and then be free to explore.
And if you are in need of copyright free Tarot Images, be sure to check out the deck I created.
What was my first Tarot deck?
Marseillies. Doesn’t fit my criteria, LOL., but I’m a sucker for woodcuts!
Ever wondered if you should buy your first Tarot deck or if it should be gifted?
Post in the comments what your first Tarot deck is or will be.
You may have heard that your first Tarot deck should be gifted.
Many people ask, “Should I pick my own Tarot deck? Or wait for someone to give me one?”
My answer to that is, don’t wait for someone to give you a deck. Go ahead and buy one.
We have lost tradition and lineage in our modern western society. It used to be that many things were passed down through families: professions, wedding dresses, watches, family history, occult knowledge perhaps…
Now that kind of passing down is very rare. We no longer practice mentorship. Schools of thought are very different now, and very often the new ideas are favored over the old. You get the picture.
So if you wait for someone to gift you a Tarot deck you may be waiting a very, very long time.
Do yourself a favor and go buy one.
A few of my picks for beginners include:
There is a lunar eclipse this August 2017 taking place at 15 degrees of Aquarius. This eclipse is part of the Great American Eclipse cycle of 2017. Read on to learn more about the Lunar Eclipse Astrology.
Eclipses happen when the moon intersects the ecliptic, which is the apparent path of the sun across the sky. Eclipse season happens twice a year, and the eclipses come in pairs or triplets.
This particular pair of eclipses will take place in Aquarius and Leo, with the full moon Eclipse happening first, at 15 degrees of Aquarius. The Lunar Eclipse will be followed by the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21 at 28 degrees Leo.
This lunar eclipse is on the South Node which calls for letting go of the material and focusing on the spiritual. People, places and things that have passed their expiration date will fall away at this time. You can voluntarily let go of things, or, since eclipses have a fated element to them, they will sometimes be removed for you.
Look for what axis this pair of eclipses fall across to learn more about the Lunar Eclipse astrology of 2017 for you personally.
For me, the lunar eclipse falls in my 2nd house and the solar in my 8th. Just this week, I got a raise at my full time job, which is allowing me to release my second job which I have been working for a year.
Letting go of the 2nd job was fairly easy (I’m worn pretty thin) but not necessarily easy, because I like the person I work for, she has always treated me fairly, and I feel very loyal to her.
The pay raise at my full time job was a bit of a surprise. We talked about a raise at the 3 month mark, and this came in just before the 2 month mark, and higher than what we previously discussed. This partnership involving money paid off more than expected, that’s a north node kind of a thing.
As I mentioned in the video, I don’t profess to say this is all the lunar eclipse in Aquarius or the solar eclipse in Leo will bring forth, but I think it’s a very good example of eclipse activity on a personal level.
There’s definitely more to come as we rock and roll through this August eclipse season.
Let me know in the comments how it’s playing out for you.
There are several Tarot cards that could describe an eclipse. The theme that runs across all cards is a degree of uncertainty, surprising events, and a flip flopping of past and present.
For this Cancer New Moon ritual, we will make an astrological talisman for the moon. This instructions pull heavily from Mansions of the Moon: a lunar zodiac for astrology and magic by Christopher Warnock.
Pick a day when the moon is waxing (between the new and full moons). In this case, for the Cancer new Moon of 2017, the moon is waxing from June 23 -July 7.
You can add an extra layer of ritual significance if you do it on the day of the Moon, or Monday. In this case the 2 available dates are Monday, June 26 and Monday, July 3rd.
For Advanced Users:
Performing the ritual on the day of the Moon and the hour of the moon adds yet another layer of astrological significance. Use this planetary hours calculator to calculate the hour of the moon for your location.
You can also elect a time by placing the moon on the ascendant or the midheaven. Make sure the moon is not combust (within 8.5 degrees of the sun) and applying to a conjunction, square, or opposition with Mars or Saturn.
To do this ritual successfully, it is not necessary to follow the advanced user instructions. Just perform the ritual and note the results!
Silver or white candles – 4,7, or 9. These are all numbers of the moon.
Incense – moon related.
Black and white image of the moon – this is your talisman
Tarot cards (optional) – The Chariot, The Moon, and The Hermit could all be used in this ritual.
Watch and see what happens in the next few weeks as the moon works to manifest your request!
The new moon in Cancer brings new beginnings to your Cancer house. I do a quick run down, sign by zodiac sign about what to expect and what you can grow under this Cancer new moon.
This Cancer new moon is a bit of a cancer sandwich in that we have Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars all in early degrees of Cancer, bringing lots of Cancer energy to the table.
The zodiac sign of Cancer is associated with the home, the mother, and moon. Cancer is a cardinal sign, which means it initiates action, so Cancer is not always the sensitive, wimpy sign that people make it out to be. Cancer works from the emotional gut, and loves to feel safe, secure and nurtured.
