How To Use Your Free Tarot Journal Template
The first step in using the template is to calculate your year card (if you don’t know it) and then your month card.
Year card = birthday month + birthday day + current year
Reduce to a number between 1 and 21.
To calculate the month card, take your year card and add the digit corresponding to the current month.
For example: year card 5 in June is 5+6=11 or Justice.
Don’t let this step throw you.
How Do You Make a Tarot Journal?
Every month, pull out your Tarot journal template and go through the questions.
You can print out the journal pages and put in a 3-ring binder or glue into an existing journal.
The first 2 questions on the template ask you to observe some things about the Tarot card you calculated for the month.
The second 2 questions ask you to use your intuition and feel into the month ahead.
Then you can make predictions if you are feeling up to it.
On the second page of the journal template, you will reflect on the previous month and see how the tarot card of the month reflected thoughts, feelings and events of the month.
The last step is to consider what magic from the previous month you want to bring into the present month.
If you make it your practice to look at your Tarot card of the month every month and add it to your Tarot journal, your conversation with Tarot will expand.

The more you interact with Tarot cards and keep a log of what happens in daily life, the greater your depth of knowledge around Tarot will grow.
