I was reading cards at a Birthday party, when I glanced over and saw several 7 day candles. You know the ones, the ones with the Virgin Mary and Saints on them.
One was clearly handmade and sported a colored pencil drawing of a scene from Star Wars.
It hit me. I could put Tarot Card images on candles, using my Evolutionary Options deck.

I quickly made a few mock ups, just using print outs from my color printer.
Then I started embellishing with paint and ribbon and tissue paper and such.
This video shows what the first batch looked like.
Tarot cards are cool.
But what about Planets, Zodiac Signs, and Numbers?
Here’s a Venus candle I made with an intention on the back.
I’ve been lighting it every day and every evening.
I decided to keep it simple, so I would do it.
That is I know there is lots of ritualistic direction around consecrating a candle. For instance, one might want to first light the candle on Friday – Venus’s day.
I have a book about Astrological Magic that has lots of good info on the subject. It’s called Astrological Magic by Benjamin Dykes and Jane Gibson.
But for now, I’m keeping it simple and seeing what happens.
